目录

[编辑] 上岛前

Claire at the tattoo parlor with her father (3x12)  (promo)

Claire is given the tickets for Flight 815 by Richard Malkin (1x10)  (promo)

[编辑] On the Island

[编辑] Season 1 (Days 1-16)

Jack aids Claire, who he believes may be in labor (1x01)  (promo)

Surviving the plane crash, Claire immediately worried about the state of her baby. Jack saved her as a wing from the plane almost crashed on her and Hurley. Later that night, Charlie introduced himself to Claire and reassured her that everything was going to be fine; they immediately hit it off. Later on, Claire was one of many survivors to witness the mysterious sound in the jungle, baffled by what it might be. (1x01)(3x21)

She was continuously worrying about her unborn child. She told Shannon that she hadn't felt the baby move since the day of the crash. She was relieved however when Jin offered her some food he had prepared. As soon as she took a bite, Claire's child began to kick and she came to the conclusion that the baby was most likely going to be a boy as she sub-consciously referred to her baby as "he". (1x02)

Kate and Claire sort clothes (1x05)  (promo)

On the survivors' third day on the island, Charlie began helping Claire with moving the luggage from the wreckage, as they continued to bond. However, Charlie had to lie to Claire when she asked about the results of the party that climbed the mountains hoping to get a signal the day before. (1x03)

Claire suggested to Jack that he led a memorial service for those that had not survived the crash. She came up with the idea after sorting through the deceased's belongings, and, after Jack turned her down, she considered leading it instead. With the assistance of Hurley and Boone, Claire led the memorial service held during the burning of the fuselage. (1x04)

Kate noticed that Claire was feeling a little bit dizzy while sorting clothes and worried for her health. Hours later, Walt told her the shocking news that Claire had collapsed. Michael & Charlie carried her to her tent to cool her off. It was this event that lead to the realisation that somebody had stolen all the water.

Charlie flirting with Claire. (1x08)  (promo)

She confided in Charlie who was looking after her while she was sleeping and told him that she felt isolated from the other survivors and that nobody would look her in the eye. She described herself as a "time bomb of responsibility, just waiting to go off"; Charlie reassured her that he wasn't frightened of her. During the evening, Boone secretly gave Claire some water to drink and it was revealed that he was the thief behind the dissapearance of the water. (1x05)

Claire and Charlie's relationship continued to blossom as they learned more things about each other. Charlie tried to convince Claire to live in the caves with him but she refused, saying that she was waiting on the beach for rescue. Eventually, Charlie and Claire made an agreement that if Charlie was to find peanut butter for Claire that she would move to the caves. Unfortunately for Charlie he found nothing but an empty jar. Charlie decided to give it to Claire anyway as a warm-hearted joke; she was touched by the gesture. Eventually, she agreed to move to the caves. (1x08)

Charlie helps Claire following her false labor (1x10)  (promo)

The smiles and jokes didn't last long for Claire at the caves. She awoke the other cave-dwellers screaming after she had a nightmare about her baby's safety (for details see: Claire's dream). She was convinced that her baby was in danger and was constantly on alert. During the night someone had attacked her with what she described as a needle. Unbeknownst to her, Ethan was implanting her with the pregnancy-protection serum, which was saving both her and her unborn baby's life (3x16).

Unfortunately, no one except Charlie believed her about this event, and she decided to move back to the beach, where she thought she would be safer. On her way back, she started to have contractions. Charlie went for help, and he encountered Ethan, whom he told to get Jack. Charlie returned to Claire, and he kept her calm and relaxed while they waited. Once the contractions stopped, however, they were accosted by Ethan in the jungle. He struggled with Charlie, then knocked the pair unconscious and dragged them both into the jungle. (1x10)

Jack, Locke, Kate, and Boone set out to rescue them. The group followed a makeshift trail Charlie left behind, and soon began to gain on Ethan. At some point, Claire regained consciousness, and let out a series of screams that drew Jack in her direction. Unfortunately, in order to stop their pursuit, Ethan tied Charlie up and hanged him from a tree by his neck. Ethan kept Claire, and they disappeared into the jungle. (1x11)

[编辑] At the Staff (Season 2 - Days 16-27)

Ethan preparing to inject Claire with the unknown vaccine at the Staff. (2x15)  (promo)

She was not seen or heard of for over a week by the survivors. The following events take place during Claire's absence.

Claire was taken by Ethan to The Staff and she was drugged at the time. It appeared as though Claire initially thought that she was back in Australia as she told Ethan of her plans to go to Los Angeles to give up the baby. Ethan continued to plant the pregnancy-protection serum into Claire and was told that she was getting injected to help prevent her and her baby from getting sick. (2x15)

After another injection from Ethan, he took her for a walk. It seemed as though Ethan was extra careful as to not let Claire wander off. He took her to a nursery for her unborn child. As she looked around, Tom appeared and spoke to Ethan outside the door. She secretly listened to their conversation whilst playing the mobile above the crib (which featured Oceanic Air planes and played "Catch a Falling Star" which was the song that Claire asked Arlene and Joseph Stewart to sing to her baby, because her dad sung it to her when she was little) and Tom was heard telling Ethan that he was to make a list and then bring her in. This was then followed by Tom speaking of an unknown and unseen higher figure and saying what he might do. (2x15)

Claire and Ethan talk outside. (2x15)  (promo)

Ethan took Claire out for a walk one day and told Claire that his friends were afraid that she may run away. He sat Claire down on a log and gave her some water to drink. Claire pulled away quickly after taking a sip saying it was sour (Ethan did not take any sips from the canteen). Ethan asked Claire if she was sure about letting him and his friends take the baby and reassured her that if she was having second thoughts that he and his friends had no right to take the baby away. (2x15)

One night, as Claire was sleeping, an Other came into Claire's room and woke her up. This Other was Alexandra Rousseau. She warned Claire to leave with her so she can escape but Claire was reluctant. Alex showed her a surgery room that was getting prepped and told her that they were going to cut him out of her. Claire was persistent with her and told her that she needs Ethan but Alex soon knocked her out with chloroform and concluded with Alex saying "you'll thank me for this one day!". (2x15)

Claire woke up in the middle of the jungle and was extremely dazed. She looked up at a figure watching her and it was revealed to be Danielle Rousseau, the mother of the young woman that had just saved her. Claire started to get frightened when Danielle approached and she shouted for Ethan who was searching for her with other Others a few yards away. Danielle got frightened so she came to her last resort and knocked Claire out with her rifle. She placed Claire in a place that she would wander back into her camp, which she eventually did. (2x15)

[编辑] Season 1 (Days 27-44)

During the events of Claire's absence Charlie, who was saved by Jack, distanced himself temporarily from the others, and was crushed by his loss and went to Rose for help. Rose prayed for Charlie and Claire's safety. (1x12)

When looking for Vincent, Boone and Locke found a weak and tired Claire strolling through the jungle after having just escaped with the assistance of Alex and Danielle Rousseau. (1x14)

Pregnant Claire, acting as bait to lure Ethan (1x15)  (promo)

Claire was taken back to the caves unconscious with everyone at the caves concerned about her safety and the baby's. She woke up frightened with no recollection about the events that had happened after the crash. It took some time for her to get used to and Charlie tried to bond with her yet again. Claire seemed reluctant as she thought that she just met Charlie and Charlie was extremely upset. After Charlie was threatened by Ethan and told that if he doesn't get Claire back, he'll kill one survivor every night, he immediately told Jack who would later come up with a plan. Originally the plan was to surround the caves with men standing guard but this didn't go according to plan as Ethan attacked Scott Jackson from the sea and killed him. (1x15)

Jack eventually decided that they were going to use Claire as bait to lure Ethan into the caves. Charlie was concerned at how they were risking Claire but Claire told him that she wanted to do this. She, Jack, Sawyer, Locke, Sayid and Kate all headed off and put the plan into motion. As Ethan was about to kidnap Claire, Jack pulled him off and Kate quickly ran towards Claire in concern of her safety. As soon as they were about to get some information from their new prisoner, he was shot and killed by Charlie. Later that night, Claire and Charlie talked for a while and Claire told Charlie that she wants to trust him but obviously, that was going to take a lot of time after what Claire had just experienced. (1x15)

Charlie had seemed to take offence to this and distanced himself from Claire. This was obvious when Charlie turned down Claire who asked if he would like to go on a walk, but Claire understood. This was followed by Claire telling Charlie that she started having dreams about the events after the crash and her memory was slowly creeping back. Later that night, when Claire was observing the other survivors behaviour, Charlie asked if she still wanted that walk and off they went. (1x16)

It would seem as though Claire and Charlie's relationship was slowly being re-kindled as they were seen walking along the beach together and later that day, were seen sitting with each other at the sea's edge. (1x17)

Claire while building a crib with Locke (1x18)  (promo)

Claire was feeling extremely pregnant, when Locke approached her and asked her for his help with something he was building. She was taken aback at the thought of someone wanting her help but she agreed. Claire and Locke talked about a range of things such as what she might name the baby and if her memory was going well. It was also revealed that it was Claire's birthday that day, although it seemed irrelevant to her, and Locke thought she had a point. After many hours of construction on the thing that she and Locke were building, Claire gave up on guessing what it was. Locke flipped it over and it was revealed to be a cradle for her unborn baby. Locke finished the construction by saying "Happy Birthday, Claire". Claire was extremely appreciative and quite flattered. (1x18)

Claire returns to the beach with a newborn Aaron (1x20)  (promo)

A few days later, Claire started to feel a little dazed and turned silent. This was noted by Sawyer and Michael, who asked if she was alright. She reassured them both that she was fine and headed off into the jungle (presumably back to the caves). As Kate was heading back to Jack with the alcohol he needed to aid Boone she heard Claire grunting and moaning through the bushes. It would seem that Claire was about to go into labor. Kate was told that she had to deliver the baby and she was terrified. Claire expressed her fright to Jin who calmed Claire down and told her (in Korean) that everything was going to be alright. Claire insisted that she was fine when the contractions stopped but out of nowhere, her water broke. Claire, who wouldn't start pushing, was worrying Kate who told her that this baby was all of theirs (referring to the Losties) and seriously needed to push. After a few hours of pushing the birth was successful, and a new little boy was born. Kate, Jin and Charlie were the only people present at the baby's birth. (1x20)

The next day, Charlie and Sun were concerened about Claire's growing fatigue and asked her if they could take the baby. She was persistent in saying no, because she was scared that The Others were going to take her baby again but both Sun and Charlie eased her conscious by saying that they would never let anything happen to the baby. As Claire slept, Charlie was having trouble keeping the baby quiet and asked Hurley for assistance but it seemed like nothing would work, until Charlie turned to Sawyer. Sawyer's voice seemed to soothe the baby and whenever he would stop talking, the baby would continue to cry. Claire was amazed by this when she saw it with her own eyes. (1x21)

Claire and Charlie take care of the newborn baby (1x21)  (promo)

Claire and Charlie seemed to have become good friends over the growing weeks as Claire was seen giving Charlie a hair cut. During this hair cut Charlie referred to the baby as "Turnhiphead". He justified this when Claire questioned his motives by saying that his head looks like a turnip, and he would continue calling him this until she gave him a name. Claire and her baby were also present during Kate's exposure as her shocking past as a fugitive was revealed. (1x22)

Claire was present when Danielle arrived at the camp to warn everybody of The Others. It seemed as though Danielle was directing most of her speech towards Claire as she was once pregnant on the island and had her baby taken away from her and also, she had previously saved Claire from the Others. (1x23)

Claire's stress levels started to rise when the whole camp was moving to the caves. Charlie saved the day when he decided that he would carry Aaron to the caves while Claire organised her things. When Danielle appeared wanting Sayid, Charlie left to get him leaving Claire and Danielle alone together and unbeknownst to him, put Claire and her child in danger. Danielle asked to hold the baby but Claire pulled away and as she did, Danielle knocked her out and stole the baby. Charlie and Sayid went off into the jungle looking for her because Sayid knew that she was heading off to the Others' black smoke hoping to make a trade; Claire's child for her own. Claire had also named the baby Aaron and Charlie promised her that he would get him back. (1x24)

Claire was worried sick and Sun assisted her to the caves. Shannon and Sun were having a conversation about fate in which Claire interrupted (still shaken by the incident) saying that there is no such thing as fate. Meanwhile across the island, it was getting dark and Charlie and Sayid had made it to the black smoke. Danielle was distraught when she saw that the Others weren't there. Sayid felt some sympathy but Charlie called her a "loony" and ran back to the camp with Aaron. As Charlie arrived, Claire was overjoyed and ran straight to Charlie and held Aaron as soon as possible. She was extremely gratified and her bond with Charlie was reaffirmed, as shown when tending to the wounds he suffered as a result of one of Danielle's traps. (1x24)

[编辑] Season 2 (Days 44-67)

When safely reunited with Aaron, her relationship with Charlie started to strengthen. She was present during Jack's speech about going down the hatch. (2x01)

Claire finds the bottle from the raft. (2x04)  (promo)

Claire confronted Charlie about how he always has to make a joke out of things, although not in a serious tone. During the conversation, Claire pulled out one of the Virgin Mary statues in Charlie's bag (these statues were full of heroin), one of the statues from the drug smugglers' plane. Charlie seemed unsettled when she found it and immediately took it off her. Claire assumed he was keeping it for spiritual value. (2x02)

Whilst on her usual walk across the beach, Claire came across something in the water. It was the bottle full of messages that the people on the raft took with them. She was the first to know that something bad had happened to those on the raft and the raft itself. She told Shannon, who suggested that they take it to Sun; since Jin was on the raft, they thought that Sun should decide what to do. Sun decided to bury it, hoping that no one would find out about it. Later that evening, when everyone was having a feast thanks to Hurley, Charlie surprised Claire with a jar of peanut butter and like a family, they had their feast together. (2x04)

Claire and Sun were out doing washing together on the beach when Sun became agitated. Claire asked what was wrong and Sun revealed that she had lost her wedding ring, making Claire the first one to know about this situation as well. (2x05)

Claire struggles with motherhood. (2x06)  (promo)

Claire became frustrated with Charlie when she thought that he was pushing her out of the way and treating Aaron as his own. This was due to Charlie arguing about Claire's parenting skills when she woke Aaron up and took him to see what was going on with Shannon. She confided in Locke by telling her that she feels like they're both playing mum and dad to Aaron when she's his parent, not Charlie. During this conversation, Claire unknowingly reveals to Locke that Charlie has a Virgin Mary statue, which Locke knows is filled with heroin, since he too has found the plane. (2x06)

Claire was later seen at Shannon's funeral a few days later. She, along with other survivors, laid down flowers next to her grave. (2x09)

Claire accidentally let slip to Eko that Charlie had one of the Virgin Mary statues when introducing herself and Aaron. He demanded she take him there, which she did. She seemed confused with Eko's motives when he smashed the statue, its contents spilling out. The statues contained heroin, and Charlie knew of this. Claire was disappointed with Charlie and kicked him out of her tent, saying that she couldn't have him around Aaron. (2x10)

What made things worse was the fact that Claire seemed to have become good friends with Locke. Charlie asked Hurley if Claire might be missing him already, but the answer was obvious as it was only a couple of days since she kicked him out. (2x11)

Charlie started to have mysterious dreams which led him to believe Aaron was in danger, and once woke up with Aaron in his arms. Claire screamed to neighbouring survivors, saying that someone had taken her baby. Hurley found Charlie with Aaron on the beach, and called to the others that Aaron was okay. Claire quickly ran towards Charlie and snatched Aaron away, then slapped Charlie across the face. Charlie was extremely apologetic, but Claire wouldn't listen. Charlie continued to warn Claire the baby was in danger, which shook Claire, but Kate reassured her that nothing was wrong. (2x12)

Claire and Aaron, baptized by Eko (2x12)  (promo)

After being convinced by another dream of his, Charlie took the baby (using a fire as a diversion) and ran towards the ocean, hoping to baptise Aaron. Claire caught him in the act and started to chase him around the beach while screaming for help. Charlie (with all eyes on him) was crying when he told Claire that Aaron had to be baptised because he was in danger. Claire was getting frustrated and upset at him, and he eventually gave Aaron back to her. Although Charlie had completely alienated the camp, Claire took what he said to heart: She asked Eko to baptise her and Aaron on the beach early the next morning. (2x12)

Claire and Charlie were estranged from each other for a long time; Charlie moved down the beach, near Sawyer. After Sun's attack by what was thought at the time to be The Others, Claire was the first one to tell Jack that Sun was awake and that he was needed to make sure she was okay. (2x13)

Claire was awoken in the night by Aaron's cries. It seemed as though he had come down with a rash, and she became worried. Worrying her further was Danielle Rousseau, arriving at the camp and warning Claire that Aaron was infected with the same "sickness" her crew had. Kate shielded Claire from Rousseau, and told Rousseau that she wasn't welcome there. Claire was frustrated with not being able to remember what happened during her time away, and asked Libby (who claimed to be a clinical psychologist) to help her regain that lost memory. During their "session" together, Claire had an immediate flash of what happened after Ethan kidnapped her. (2x15)

Claire looking over Aaron after her search for the Staff. (2x15)  (promo)

Claire enlisted Kate's help to find the Staff, hoping there would be medication for Aaron there; she left Aaron in Sun's care. Whilst on their journey, they encountered Danielle, who helped them find their way. When the three women arrived at The Staff, it was completely empty. While Claire looked around for the room where she was getting injected with the pregnancy-protection serum by Ethan, Danielle was looking around the place and Kate had found costumes hanging in lockers that belonged to The Others. Claire was frustrated when she found that the refridgerator which should have contained the vaccine was empty. Claire and Kate left and Danielle went her own way, although not before Claire told her of her encounter with Alex. She told Danielle that she was different from the rest of the Others and that she was good. Danielle was relieved when she heard this and left by saying "You're not the only one who didn't find what they were looking for". She also gave the chilling message that if Aaron was infected, then they knew what must be done. (2x15)

When Claire arrived late that night after her trek, she retrieved Aaron. Aaron's rash had gone away, and she was extremely glad. She told Aaron that she was never going to leave him and that they had to take care of each other. She realised that she never really wanted to give him away and that she would always love him. (2x15)

Claire and Charlie reconcile at the funeral. (2x22)  (promo)
Claire still had little doubts about Aaron's well-being. She asked Jack if Aaron's fever was better and Jack assured Claire that Aaron was well on the way to recovery and that she shouldn't worry anymore. (2x17)

Clarie was one of many asked to help with the S.O.S. sign that Bernard was building. She took offense for the group when Bernard accused all of them of not wanting to be rescued, and she also had a smug reaction when Bernard was humiliated in front of the group by Rose. (2x19)

Claire seemed to have eased some of her anger towards Charlie a few days later. Charlie found Claire and told him that he found some vaccine in the food that was dropped a couple of days prior. She was thankful and amazed that Charlie went to all this trouble to get it, although she was a little bit skeptical when Charlie knew how to inject himself with the vaccine. He immediately told her that he tried it out to make sure it was safe for her and Aaron. Their conversation was cut short when Claire was amazed to see Michael emerge from the jungle after having disappeared for a long period of time.(2x22)

During Libby and Ana-Lucia's funeral, Claire held Charlie's hand in reconciliation. (2x22)

Bernard protects Claire. (2x23)  (promo)
When injecting herself and the baby with the vaccine Charlie had just given her, she was confronted by Desmond who said that she was wasting her time. He then went on to ask if the father of the child was on the plane. Claire replied no and gave him a brief history of what Thomas did to her when she was pregnant. Desmond suggested that he was doing it for the betterment of her and Aaron, thinking that he knew he was going to be a bad father. Claire retaliated, saying that Thomas did what was best for him, and their conversation ended. (2x23)

A few hours later, just after the discharge of the hatch, Claire was almost crushed by a falling piece of debris (the Swan's door), but Bernard pulled her and Aaron out of the way in time. She was relieved to see Charlie fall out of the bushes, half-deaf and disorientated. She later asked what had happened out there, but he just replied with a sarcastic and witty comment. They then shared a kiss, making their reconciliation official. (2x23)

[编辑] Season 3 (Days 69-93)

Claire and Nikki watch as Charlie and Locke bring an injured Eko back to camp (3x03)  (promo)

Claire's relationship with Charlie continued to blossom. He had moved back over to her tent, and through deleted scenes, the two were shown kissing and holding hands. Throughout more deleted scenes, Claire discovers Nikki and Paulo having sex in Jack's tent. Nikki is embarrassed by this although Paulo seems bitter at Claire for interrupting. Later, Nikki approaches Claire explaining how the situation had happened. She reveals to an apprehensive Claire that Paulo has been having "problems" since the crash and starts to question Claire and Charlie's sex life, asking if they are experiencing the same situation. Claire was surprised to see Locke and Charlie dragging an unconscious Eko back to the camp. She was one of the most surprised and shocked survivors when told the news that Jack, Kate and Sawyer had been taken by The Others. She then expressed concern for the safety of Sayid, Sun and Jin, as they had also not returned from their raiding of the Others' village. Locke then asked Claire to get some medical supplies for Eko. (3x03)

The next day, Desmond ominously attempted to persuade Claire to move down by the beach, stating that her roof had problems and he would fix them. When Claire decided not to move, Desmond started to construct a large lightning rod next to her shelter. The other survivors were perplexed, but then, a flash rainstorm came, and the rod diverted a bolt of lightning that struck very close to Claire's tent. (3x04)

Desmond performing CPR on Claire, with Charlie watching. (3x08)  (promo)

Desmond rescued Claire again when she was caught in an undertow, bringing her ashore and resuscitating her. Charlie confronted Desmond about his continual rescuing of Claire, but Desmond reveals that it is actually Charlie that he had saved, and not Claire. (3x08)

Claire was seen a few days later, sitting with Charlie as he recounted his adventure with the DHARMA van. It seemed as though Charlie was no longer obsessing about his imminent death, and the two seemed to have a good time. (3x10)

Claire, aided by Jin and Sun, attempts to catch the gulls (3x12)  (promo)

Later, Claire conceived the idea to use migrating gulls to send a message to the outside world. Desmond stopped Charlie from participating in the capture of any gulls (causing an argument between Charlie and Claire) and then interfered with Claire's attempt to catch a gull with Jin and Sun. Claire, confused by Desmond's behavior, followed him to the cove and watched him hurry over to a gull and catch it with little effort. Confronting him, she eventually learned about his newfound precognitive abilities and about his premonitions of Charlie's death. Desmond handed over the captured gull and Claire composed a rescue note. Claire and Charlie reconciled and tightened their relationship. They then released the seagull with the note attached, and Claire confessed that she has not yet "given up" on Charlie. (3x12)

A few days later, Claire attends Nikki and Paulo's funeral with Aaron in her arms. She, like all the other survivors, left before the funeral ended. (3x14)

When Sawyer wanted to make amends and fit in with the rest of the survivors, his main target was to befriend and gain Claire's trust. Claire was surprised when Sawyer gave Aaron a blanket but she was also appreciative. Claire eventually let Sawyer hold Aaron after she thought Sawyer was capable and trustworthy. (3x15)

Claire collapses in Charlie's arms (3x16)  (promo)

The next day, Claire began to feel deeply ill. Charlie, who at the time was across the camp, heard Aaron crying for an unreasonable amount of time. Concerned, he rushed over to find Claire passed out cold in her tent. He comforted Aaron, then tended to Claire. He told her to try to get some more rest, in the hope that whatever was wrong would burn itself out.

Claire slept for several hours, and stumbled into the camp's meeting later that night. Charlie, seeing that she was clearly not well, tried to convince her to go back to bed, but she collapsed in his arms. Charlie was trying to revive her when she coughed up blood. (3x16)

When Jack and Charlie brought her back to their shelter, Juliet claimed that she could help Claire, while revealing to Kate that she (Juliet) was the one who made Claire sick. This was later revealed to be a ruse concocted by Ben and Juliet. During the time Claire was in The Staff, she was implanted with a device that could be triggered to induce the exact medical trauma she experienced. The whole point was for Juliet to gain the survivors' trust. (3x16)

Claire, shocked after Charlie didn't tell her his plan to swim to the Looking Glass (3x21)  (promo)

A few days later, Sun notices Claire playing with Aaron from afar in her tent. Sun seems distressed as she had just found out the fate of all pregnant women who conceive on the island. She wonders how Claire got through it all. (3x18)

Days later, Claire was present when Sayid made his speech regarding Naomi, Oceanic Flight 815, and his distrust of Jack and Juliet. Claire was obviously very upset with the fact that the whole world thought they were dead. (3x20)

When Charlie volunteered to swim down to an unknown hatch, Claire was initially upset that he didn't tell her. Charlie maintained that he didn't want to worry her, and kissed Claire goodbye. He omitted any mention of his impending death. Claire then readied herself with Hurley for a trek to the Radio Tower. Unbeknownst to Claire, Charlie left his ring in Aaron's cradle. (3x21)

Claire trekked with the rest of the survivors to the Radio Tower. At the time of Charlie's death, Aaron began to cry, and Claire tried to comfort him; Naomi informs her that Charlie had succeeded in shutting down the jamming signal at the Looking Glass. Shortly after Ben's capture, Hurley radioed in and informed Jack that the camp was secure and Jin, Bernard and Sayid were alive, to which Claire asked about Charlie; Hurley's assumption that he would be back soon did not seem to calm her fears. She was present during the confrontation between Jack and Locke, and when Jack spoke to Minkowski via Naomi's phone. Claire celebrated with the other survivors about being rescued, but still wondered about Charlie and his fate. She and Sun talked while Claire was changing Aaron. Claire chastisised Sun for "rubbing it in" when she expressed her disbelief that she would have her baby in a hospital. Claire pointed out to Rose that she should be proud of Bernard as he "seems quite the hero" but Rose informed her that everyone knew the real hero was Charlie and Rose joked to Claire about treating him "real good" when he gets back. Claire decides to go with Team Locke. (4x01)

When the survivors located at the radio tower were about to head off to meet with the beach party, Claire noted the worried expression on Jack's face, but he assured her that he was just worried about missing the ride home. Claire smiled at him but she still wasn't sure. Later that night, the two groups met at the Cockpit where Sun and Rose reunited with their loved ones. Claire looked around for Charlie but instead came across an upset Hurley approaching her. Hurley gave the devasting news that Charlie had died. The two hugged and cried, comforting each other. When Claire asked what had happened Hurley tells her that Charlie was trying to help them. The survivors then had to make a choice: whether to get rescue with Jack, or hide from the "rescuers" with Locke. Claire decided to go with Locke due to Charlie's message and not wanting Charlie to die for nothing. She, along with Locke, Hurley, Sawyer, Ben, Danielle, Alex, Karl and a few redshirts, began to make their way to the Barracks to hide. (4x01)

The next day Claire, amongst everyone else in Team Locke, trekked through the jungle and came across Charlotte who had fallen into the water from the helicopter. The party immediately interrogate Charlotte about why she came to the island, when she notices Claire holding Aaron. Claire tells Charlotte Aaron's name and informs her that she gave birth to him on the island to which Charlotte is amazed. Claire speaks to Charlotte rather coldly, indicating she also believes that the freighter team are on the island to hurt them. (4x02)

After seeing Frank's flare, Claire along with Charlotte suggest to Locke that they find the source in case the person is injured, but Locke does not listen to them. When Locke becomes angered with Ben and decides to execute him, Claire seems extremely distressed pleads with Locke that they should talk about it before doing anything drastic. Locke asks Claire what might have happened if the bullets had hit her or the baby to which Claire immediately falls silent. She then continues with Team Locke (along with Charlotte) as they continue their journey to the Barracks. (4x02) (4x03)
